Everyone in Redbridge has an opinion on what needs fixing—and right now, residents have a direct channel to put those demands in writing. A newly launched public consultation is asking locals to dictate the borough's funding and development priorities for the coming years.

Rather than letting bureaucrats decide behind closed doors, this is your chance to force community-led issues to the top of the agenda.

Key areas open for your feedback:

  • Local Infrastructure: High-priority community sore points, including the stalled future of Broadmead Road Bridge and Wanstead Pool and School, are officially on the table.

  • Housing & Green Spaces: Your input will directly guide where affordable homes are built and how our local parks are protected and maintained.

  • Community Resources: Ensuring neighborhoods across Ilford and the wider borough have the facilities required for residents to thrive.

What this means for you: If you have been frustrated by delayed local projects, traffic issues, or neglected community spaces, this is the official avenue to make your voice heard on where money and effort should be spent.

If you would like to participate, head over to the Let’s Talk Redbridge portal this weekend to submit your thoughts on the Borough Vision.
