After five years under Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, the charity is now fully independent — with its own board of trustees and full control over how it raises and spends money. It has invested over £5 million in patient care across King George Hospital in Ilford and Queen's Hospital in Romford.
