Pathology and clinical engineering staff at Queen's Hospital, Romford are striking for five days from Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May. Blood test processing will be severely impacted. Urgent cases — cancer patients and emergency patients — are being prioritised. This is the third round of strikes this year, following walkouts in February and March.
What to do: Postpone non-urgent blood tests until after 1 May. If you need an urgent test, contact your GP first before attending the hospital.
